September 1 - 6 The Waxing Phase

The Moon's light is increasing as we approach the Full Moon. This Shukla phase is a more externalized period. During this phase, you may feel like you are making progress, feeling motivated, and hopeful. Things are starting to come to a peak, and you will be starting to see results in your goals and projects.

September 7 Aquarius Full Moon Lunar Eclipse

For the collective energies, this Full Moon cycle activates the 5/11 axis of validation, expectation, self-expression, and conformity. This axis deals with the individual's place in the world and how societal standards impact the creativity and identity of the individual. Are you fitting in with the crowd or shining bright above the rest? Does being yourself help or hinder the greater good of humanity? This axis represents the Fire and Air Elements, all about balancing how you follow your own rules and obey the rules of society.

Ketu in Leo is bringing detachment to individual expression, while Rahu in Aquarius is seeking power and control through the masses. As a Dharma and Kama Axis, this Full Moon is about balancing what you stand for and what you are willing to sacrifice to feel good.

Eclipses have the power to course correct. Depending on what houses are activating,

you will feel compelled to change, or the change will happen beyond your control. Either way, change is on the horizon.

September 7 - 20 Waning Period

Following a Full Moon is a two-week Krishna phase, or waning period. The light of the Moon diminishes a little more with each day. This is a time for wrapping up a project, internalizing experiences, and being more emotional overall. Reflecting on the past and how to improve can bring feelings of achievement, or self-doubt can creep in, leaving you feeling deflated. There may be a lack of new ideas or motivation at this time.

Sun, hemmed between Ketu and Mercury, is very combust, which can impact the nervous system; there can be significant epiphanies here, but there must be caution with communication and the ideas that are coming to mind. September 11 - 12 Mercury + Ketu Conjunction with Mars in Miracle Degrees

This day can bring about some unreliable actions as Mars transitions signs, and your ability to focus could be affected. There can be anxiousness, hesitation, and impulsiveness. Mercury rules our intellect and nervous system, and being so close to Ketu can bring disillusionment and heightened sensitivity, like a sensory overload. Focusing on detaching from physical desires can be beneficial.

Careful with your communications on this day and the days leading up, as Ketu's influence on Mercury can make your message seem sharp and detached.

September 14 Mars enters Libra (Quincunx with Saturn), Venus enters Leo

Mars is weaker in Libra, but it is receiving the blessings of Jupiter. Mars moves into a 6/8 position with Saturn, meaning it is eight houses from Saturn and Saturn is six houses from Mars. This is a challenging aspect between two malefics. Saturn in the 6th position for Mars indicates challenges and setbacks with your efforts, especially when you try to push hard or force a situation to go a certain way. Wherever Virgo is in your chart is a great time to get into the details. Except that Saturn is opposing Neptune in Pisces. Saturn's energy is orderly and focused on completing projects slowly and methodically, creating systems, routines, and challenging them with limitations, boundaries, and practical processes. But it will be a slow process, and Mercury prefers to move fast. Neptune's influence on Mercury could create mysterious challenges, with no ability to see the solution, but you may be asked to disregard logic and trust the process.

September 21 Sun + Saturn Opposition and a New Moon in Virgo

New Moon is a time for setting new intentions, goals, or making a wish. Saturn is putting on the pressure and trying to restructure your house of flow and nonchalant attitude. Sun and Saturn are naturally opposing forces, so when they oppose each other in the sky, there is a strong magnetic pull on both ends of the axis of control and surrender. This is a cosmic game of tug of war, and to find that balance, there must be a common ground. 

Pisces and Virgo are both feminine dual signs. There is flexibility, adaptability, and the ability to receive and flow. Neither sign is about taking action; this axis is about controlling what you can and letting go of the need to manage what is out of your power.
