Today, we're talking about relationships in astrology.

As someone who is single or in a relationship, how can you use astrology to better understand your partner?

This is an astrological hot topic.

And it turns out, there are nine different factors in a chart that you can use to improve and grow your relationships.

I'm going to go over the pros and cons of each one, and in the end, you'll have everything you need to analyze your own chart and understand your relationships through the lens of astrology.

I'm going to tell you about the nine factors you need to look for to fully analyse your chart and gain insights on how to improve your relationships.

And just like anything in life, there are pros and cons to look for with each factor.

And by that I mean strengths and weaknesses, which reveal character traits and patterns of behavior in your relationships.

To begin, let's review the nine factors.

In reality, you have two distinct types of factors.

7 factors are static on one side, and 2 factors are dynamic on the other.

This results in a total of 9 factors.

It may seem like a lot, but I promise, if you can understand these principles, you can apply them to any chart analysis.

The static factors include your

  • 7th house,

  • 7th house ruler,

  • planets in the 7th house,

  • Venus,

  • Jupiter

  • Navamsa Chart

  • and Darakaraka

The dynamic factors are

  • Your planetary cycles, called Dashas

  • The constant movement of the planets, known as Transits.

Now, a few things to keep in mind.

As I go through this, I'm explaining these factors, assuming you have a basic knowledge of Astrology, in the sense that seven planets rule over 12 signs, and each sign is in one of the 12 houses.

Spoiler: I am not going to talk about Moon in this video becuase it goes without saying that the Moon is critical in assessing the emotional and mental capacity for a relationship.

And to clarify, your Ascendant is the zodiac sign rising at the time of your birth and establishes the remaining houses in the chart.

It too is equally important as the Moon.

Let's break down the different attributes of the nine factors so you can review your own chart and better understand and improve your relationships.

You will want to start with the static factors to understand the strengths and weaknesses in your chart.

The first static factor is the 7th house.

It shows the general nature of relationships, marriage, and compatibility with a partner.

Alone, it doesn’t give details about timing.

However, the sign placed here will provide significant clues about the qualities of your partner.

Fire signs like Aries, Leo, and Sagittarius show your relationships will be inspiring, independent, and impulsive.

Fixed signs, such as Taurus, Leo, Scorpio, and Aquarius, reveal qualities like loyalty, stability, and stubbornness.

And every sign will be masculine or feminine, which will give emotional clues about their temperament.

The 2nd static factor is the 7th House Ruler.

The planet that rules your 7th house reveals your partner’s character and the flow of relationship energy overall.

Who the planet is and where it is placed in the chart will determine its strength and capacity to express its highest nature.

If this planet is afflicted by being in an enemy sign or aspected by a malefic planet, it can indicate delays, misunderstandings, or conflict in a committed relationship.

The 3rd static factor is the Planets in the 7th House.

Planets in the 7th house offer discernible traits that the partner may possess (e.g., nurturing, passionate, ambitious).

Their placement in the 7th house will completely modify the house based on what it represents as a planet and a house ruler.

Malefic planets can create tension, power struggles, or emotional intensity here.

However, even benevolent planets like Venus and Mercury can also pose their own unique challenges.

The 4th static factor is Venus.

Venus is the planet of relationships, indicating how love, attraction, and harmony manifest in romantic and social relationships.

If placed in an enemy sign or aspected by a malefic planet such as Mars or Saturn, Venus has a difficult time expressing her highest nature.

This kind of affliction can lead to unrealistic expectations, feelings of unappreciation, indulgence, or difficulty expressing love.

The 5th static factor is Jupiter.

Jupiter plays a crucial role in our relationships.

His position in the charts shows the wisdom, moral values, and your partner’s supportive qualities.

An afflicted Jupiter can deliver moral imbalances, a lack of maturity, or challenges in development.

The 6th static factor is the Navamsa Chart (D9)

Also known as the D9 chart, the navamsha is the secret sauce to understanding relationships and requires an accurate birth time.

The D9 can be studied as a standalone chart, but the magic really happens when it is used in conjunction with the Natal chart.

The Navamnsa refines details about the spouse and potential for long-term relationships.

Misinterpretation is common if considered without the main chart.

Venus, Jupiter, and your Ruling planet are to be studied in the D9.

Any afflictions to these planets can indicate marital struggles or spiritual lessons through relationships.

The 7th and final static factor is the Darakaraka.

The Darakaraka originates from the Jaimini system of Astrology and should not be confused with other Vedic factors.

However, even as a separate static factor, the darakaraka specifically highlights what you are drawn to in a partner and their key qualities.

So studying the strength of this planet is important.

However, it can be easy to overidealize these traits.

To find the Darakaraka, look for the planet with the lowest degree of longitude.

Okay, now let's move on to the two dynamic factors.

Before we proceed, please consider giving this video a like if you find the information helpful.

I would love it if you do.

Oh, and one more thing: when examining the static factors, remember that your chart is a map of karmas, but you also have free will to overcome them.

Awareness is the key.

The 8th factor involves examining your Dasha Periods - Marriage Prediction

Dasha is a special word that refers to a planetary period.

Each planet governs a portion of your life timeline, so examining the current dasha cycle helps predict timing for marriage and relationship developments.

Each dasha planet activates the houses it rules in a chart, and the house it occupies, plus any other planets that are in those houses.

This is why the dasha is a dynamic factor.

It acts like a light switch for your karma.

If a malefic planet’s dasha is active, events may be delayed, complicated, or stressful.

And the dasha of your 7th house ruler in your natal chart or the navamsha chart is a great predictor of when you could get married.

The 9th and final factor to consider is the Transits.

Transits refer to the constant movement of the planets through the zodiac.

Because your natal chart is just a snapshot of the sky taken at the time you were born.

The transiting sky is forever changing.

And when you overlay the current positions of the planets over your static natal placements, the transits can trigger significant relationship events.

Transits of the malefic planets can coincide with misunderstandings, separations, or karmic lessons.

While benefic transits and the movement of Venus, Jupiter, and the 7th house ruler can bring blessings and growth opportunities.

Okay, that's it; I've shown you the nine factors to look for that will help you better understand your relationships and yourself.
